The series makes the most of Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch’s chemistry, using the two characters and their romance in a way that Supergirl never could. The only thing to hope for is that it doesn’t become a soap opera like the rest of the CW, but rather a balanced mix of genres.
