Honestly I’m more of a watcher/listener than Ben Whishaw reading a restaurant menu or the minutes of a local council meeting, so I’ve always been a fan of this one. There are some great supporting performances in Black Doves and For the Singles and this is a must-watch series if you like your comedy dark.
As for Kathryn Hunter as Lenny Laine, let’s just say her performance is outstanding
Ella Lily Hyland as Williams and Gabrielle Creevy as Eleanor are two of my favorite characters here. Add to all of this the gorgeous sets and stage sets, and this is an absolute winner for me.
